Speaking during the presentation of a Toyota Hilux van and sophisticated communication gadgets to the Command Headquarters in Lagos, Ayona Trimnell, Divisional Head, Corporate Communications of the Bank, stated that the donation is one of the ways that Diamond Bank gives back to the society. According to her, the aim of the donation is to contribute towards a better and well equipped Police force.
She said: “We believe that a better equipped Police will do a better job at containing crime and providing a more effective security in the society. Therefore, ensuring that the police force is better equipped should be the collective responsibility of every citizen, we at Diamond Bank constantly strive to give back to the society in ways that impact positively”.
Speaking further, she said that the donation represents Diamond Bank’s token of appreciation to the Police Force for their patriotism and selfless service to the society while at the same time encouraging them to do even better.
