COREMEDIA BAGS NIPR GOLDEN EAGLE AWARDS
The Jide Adeniran-led Coremedia was at its best penultimate week at the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations’ PR Golden Eagle Awards 2010, where it was declared winner in two categories which are; Best use of PR on Electronic Media and Best Use of PR Department(Public sector/Government).
Coremedia, which was nominated in three categories, but won two beat the likes Marketing Mix, CMC Connect among others to clinch the awards.
Speaking after receiving the awards, Mr. Jide Adeniran, CEO of Coremedia said it was a great honour to be presented with such awards based on the fact that it was first of its kind in the Public Relations industry and there are others who are in the business before Coremedia who could not get the awards.
“Glory be to God for His mercy. It’s hard work with good innovative that made us the right PR house to clinch such awards. We won’t rest on our oars, we will keep giving cutting edge services that will stand us out always amongst our contemporaries,” he revealed.
Other winners in the PR Golden Eagle Awards include CMC Connect (Best Use of PR in the Print Media), Marketing Mix (Most Outstanding PR Campaign & Best PR Agency of the Year), The Quadrant Company (Best Contribution to the PR Education in Nigeria).
The awards ceremony was attended by who-is who in the public relations industry which include the President of NIPR, Alhaji Mohammed Abdullah, representative of the Lagos State Governor, Jide Ologun, Chairman, NIPR Lagos State chapter, Nkechi Alli-Balogun, Yomi Badejo- Okusanya, Akin Adeoya, boss of Marketing Mix, Bolaji Okusaga and many others.
